Create shortcut on your desktop

Create a shortcut to Beta Show Secretary.  Run this if you need to create a shortcut for Show Secretary Beta .

Important Notice: This is the Test Version of Show Secretary which implements the following new enhancements:

(1) supports the mandatory 2007 reporting requirements for USEF. Formats implemented are Arabian, Morgan, Friesian, Paso Fino, Hackney/Roadster and Welsh. Please note the USEF electronic reporting is an add-on option to Show Secretary and is not installed with the default system. You must purchase this option to have the USEF electronic reporting feature available.

(2) New calendaring system which now allows you to enter show entries into any show on the calendar. Previous version only allowed you to setup the show on the calendar but you could only enter entries into a single show. This version has eliminated that restriction which now makes the calendar the preferred method for setting up all of your shows.

(3) When setting up your show on www.showmyhorse.com it is no longer necessary to have a fixed IP address which required that you send us the IP address of your show secretary computer. Instead of doing a direct connection to the ShowMyHorse database, we have implemented a method where files of your show setup are created and uploaded to the site and then automatically processed by the web site. Even dial-up users can now enjoy the benefits of online show entries.

(4) important - Make a copy of your database and use this copy with the new version of Show Secretary. This is because the database in this new version of Show Secretary is not compatible with the previous versions of Show Secretary. By using a copy you will be able to return to the current stable version (6.58) of Show Secretary if the need arises.
